The winds of change are blowing around. In line with this, the job market has undergone many changes. Some jobs sector is becoming a crisis, and the others are spreading day by day. But the burning question is that what will happen in the long run? Will human beings be able to cope up with the business revolution? Will they be able to challenge with Robots in the workplace?

Yeah, I hope we will be able to secure our future. Besides, human beings have the power to control over that of foolish robot or unwanted situations.

Adapting to the business revolution is hard but not difficult at all. For this, we need to have some skills to survive in the 21st century. Some of these are ICT skills, another are Communication skills and the other is creative skills. Employers are looking for these skills and may ask the question in the viva. 

Here are five less obvious ones for you so that you will prepare yourself before entering into the competitive job market.

1. Problem Solving

Suppose you have written a program to create a mini calculator. You will use it for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. But, when you input numbers into it and try to subtract them, it outputs the wrong answer. How will you fix this problem?

Solving abilities define how dedicated you are to solve a problem. Employers will consider how you think problems and come up with creative solutions.

2. Critical Thinking

Imagine you are the manager of an online bookstore. You want to develop better services for your customers. Making better services depend on customer’s feedback. After collecting data, can you analyze and improve the solution?

5. Decision Making 

Suppose you are going to attend a Viva today. So, you need to wear a tie. If you think of dressing a white shirt, black pants, and black shoes, then which color of the tie will you choose? 

Decision making helps people to make better choices. Employers will care about how good you are in this area to make more efficient and effective decisions.

These skills are essential to get a job in the 21st century. Now, I would like to tell you about two-bonus skills.

6. Leadership

Leading a group of people is the quality of a person who is going to taking a world-class job. A leader can influence people in a direction. And he also can be able to impact on the industries.

Leadership is not a single skill. It's the combination of all positive qualities of a person. If employees have this skill, they will be able to lead the community or the business.

Tips: While you are studying at university, you can take part in or work for various organizations that will improve your leadership skills.

7. Programming
